Seacrest’s stalker is in the Army Reserves
4-Nov-2009
Written by: Elaine Campion
The man who has been stalking Ryan Seacrest is currently in the Army Reserves and previously had served in the National Guard.
According to People online, Chidi Uzomah Jr., the man who has been stalking and threatening Ryan Seacrest, is a sergeant with the Army Reserves under the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion, which is a part of the special forces. He served with the National Guard from 2005 through 2009 and was then honorably discharged. That is when he transferred to the Army Reserve.
Uzomah, who is 25, walked into E! on Friday with a knife looking for Seacrest. He is currently on probation for an attack on one of Seacrest’s bodyguards in September. The incident happened after Uzomah was denied a meeting with Seacrest. He is now facing a three-year restraining order and potentially Army discipline on top of that.
