Prejean's Sex Tape Causes Settlement in Case
The law battle between Carrie Prejean and Miss California USA came to an end as both parties dropped all charges against each other, TMZ reported.
The pageant settled on paying $100,000 for Prejean's lawyers and publicists connected with the court battles. The money will go directly to them and not through Prejean's bank account.
Prejean dropped all charges against Miss California USA officials when a lawyer for the pageant showed Prejean a sex video she had made of herself. The video is extremely graphic and has never been released to the public.
The lawsuit battle began when she filed a lawsuit against the pageant for revealing confidential information about her breast augmentation, the pageant officials followed by suing Prejean for the $5,200 used for her implants.
Prejean's book comes out on Monday and even though she wrote it without the pageants' permission, there will be no lawsuit filed against her.
