Lindsay Lohan Seeks Restraining Order Against Father

Lindsay Lohan asked her lawyer to gain a restraining order against her father, TMZ reported.

Lindsay contacted her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, on Tuesday to take legal action against Michael Lohan, who has been making televised statements against Lindsay alleged drug abuse.

On Wednesday Radar Online posted a recording of the actress having a phone conversation with her father in which she gives a desperate cry for help. Michael Lohan released the taped phone conversations in order to prove Lindsay needs help.

According to TMZ Lindsay's lawyer, Chapman Holley is thinking about possibly filing a defamation lawsuit along with obtaining a restraining order against Michael Lohan in Lindsay's behalf.

The dates of the recording are not known and it's the first of a series of recordings made by Michal Lohan from phone calls made by Lindsay and her mother, Dina.

Dina Lohan had been contacting Lindsay's lawyer in an attempt to gain a restraining order against Michael in Lindsay's behalf, but had been denied by Chapman Holley who stated "Lindsay is an adult" and she would get one if that's what she wanted.
