Martin and Baldwin: the Oscar’s comedic dream team

Martin and Baldwin were chosen to be co-hosts at the Oscar’s this year.
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be this year's Oscar co-hosts, beating out such competition as Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey, according to a statement made by co-producer Adam Shankman in Entertainment Weekly.
Martin, however, is no stranger to the Oscar stage, having hosted the show twice before. But for Baldwin, who will be making his way from 30 Rock to the Oscar's, the 2010 show will be the first.
"A veteran like Martin should make it easier on first time producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman," wrote blogger Greg Ellwood on HitFix.com.
