Kim Kardashian Gets Black Eye
4-Nov-2009
Written by: Blakely Slater

Auction winners received the chance to battle the Kardashians in a boxing ring.

The Kardashians had a big brawl Tuesday night in the name of charity.

The reality TV family participated in the “Kardashian Charity Knock Out” at Commerce Casino outside of Los Angeles. Proceeds went to The Dream Foundation, a charity focused on making wishes come true for adults with life-threatening illnesses.

Members of the Kardashian clan battled it out in the boxing ring against eager fighters who bid in an auction for the chance to box the stars, reports Eonline.com.

Rob fought a substantially larger opponent, according to Kim’s report on her website, and ended up with a concussion.

Kim did not fair too well either, receiving a black eye during her match.

“My girl was a good sport, but she was tough!” she told fans on her website. “I knew I had to do it for charity, since that’s what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch! Look at my black eye!”

Luckily, stepdad Bruce Jenner was able to step-up for his team, winning his fight against Mark Behar.

Both Khloé and Scott Disick, Kourtney’s baby-daddy, got a little scared and opted out of their matches, according to Eonline. Luckily, Mark Behar, the man set to battle Disick, did not waste his money entirely. Disick challenged the New York resident to two unsanctioned rounds in the green room in place of a boxing match.

It may have been a bruising and battering journey, but it was not all in vain. In total, the Kardashians raised more than $11,000 for The Dream Foundation.
