Seacrest Faces Stalker Scare

Idol host faced with stalker situation
Ryan Seacrest, the host of television phenomenon American Idol, as well as other media ventures including work for the E! Network and American Top 40, has a stalker on his hands.
25-year-old Chidi Uzomah was found with a knife at the E! Network offices in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Police arrested Uzomah, who later claimed Not Guilty to a stalking charge. A Los Angeles judge ordered Uzomah to stay at least 500 yards away from Seacrest, and to avoid contact via telephone for three years.
This is not the first time Uzomah has found himself in hot water regarding Seacrest. Last September, Uzomah entered a guilty plea for attacking one of Seacrest’s bodyguards at a charity event. At that time, Uzomah was ordered to leave the host alone.
If convicted of the latest charges, including stalking and disobeying a previous order to stay away, Uzomah could get up to four years in prison.
