Chris Brown apologizes for the Rihanna incident on MTV.
Chris Brown apologized for the Rihanna incident on an MTV News appearance, according to MTV.
On a special interview which airs on Friday Brown apologizes for what happened with Rihanna, his former girlfriend, and explains why he has apologized publicly so many times.
Earlier this year in February Brown physically assaulted singer Rihanna after having a discussion in the car. Since then Brown has apologized and talked about the beating on television networks and news, making critics speculate whether these were sincere. The matter became controversial when Rihanna decided to return to the relationship with Brown after he beat her, she later said regretted the decision.
Brown told MTV News he was being vague on the apologizes and explanations to protect the privacy of his ex-girlfriend.
Brown said he is in process of taking responsibility for his actions and trying to understand his behavior through court mandated counseling sessions.
