Oprah Winfrey is negotiating whether to stay or leave her talk show on the network, < a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3ib703f02e7add82793315b8dba64a4aef">The Hollywood Reporter announced.
Winfrey has been negotiating with television network, CBS Corp. on whether to take her daytime talk show to her own L.A-based network "The Oprah Winfrey Network," OWN.
The syndication deal expires in mid-2011 and Winfrey said will have an answer by the end of this year.
The network company said Winfrey is a "legend" and they will have reached a decision in a couple of months.
During the past years, Winfrey had announced quitting but had decided renewing the deals afterward.
In 1997 after thinking about quitting, Winfrey signed an extension, which lasted until 2002. Later in 2002 she announced retirement from her talk show in 2006 but again signed an extension until 2011. Most recently speculation has been growing about Winfrey moving her talk show to "The Oprah Winfrey Network," amid her 2005 announcement to retire in 2011.
