DMX Won't Fight if he Can't Win!
Rapper DMX backs out of boxing match after Thunder Promotions failed to comply with his orders to "fix" the match.
38-year-old DMX, formally known as Earl Simmons, told MMA Nation that he didn't plan on training for his upcoming fight with actor Eric Martinez because "It wouldn't be fair." Maybe that's because the match was set to be fixed!
According to documents obtained by TMZ, DMX was only willing to enter the ring if Martinez let him win.
"Event Promoter and Management agree the Artist [DMX] is scheduled to win Boxing Challenge scheduled for December 12, 2009 in Birmingham, Alabama at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex located at 2100 Arrlington Jr. Blvd. Artist will be the Contender in a Celebrity Boxing Match against Eric Martinez." the document states.

Now reports are saying that DMX has since "backed out" of the fight.
"DMX pulled out of the fight because his safety could not be guaranteed" sources tell HiphopDX.
Perhaps DMX was too scared to fight for real.
