Sykes Has Doubts about Her New Hosting Job

Wanda Sykes fears networks won't cooperate with her new "The Wanda Sykes Show" project.

Funny girl Wanda Sykes is hitting some bumps in the road before she begins to host her very own talk show, "The Wanda Sykes Show."

Sykes is suspicious about the network being completely supportive of her new project. According to The New York Times, the comedienne has had unlucky experience with Television time slots and cancellations on CBS, leading her to have second thoughts about the "business." "…Do I really want to get back in there? I know how hard it is to launch a show. Do I want to spend that much energy, and everything is just left up to them?" She asked herself.

Blackbookmag.com claims Sykes may have nothing to worry about however, pointing out that it will probably be easy for fans of SNL, which airs right before "The Wanda Sykes Show," to linger and enjoy what the witty performer has to offer.
