British singer Susan Boyle shocked many when she became an overnight success. And now she is heading for the states to appear on a competitive dancing television series. The 48-year-old will sing for "Dancing with the Stars," according to the New York Daily News.
And despite the potentially awkward moment that could arise between Boyle and contestant Kelly Osbourne's mother, who made comments putting down the singers looks, Boyle is excited.
"She's excited and happy," her brother, John Boyle, told People.com. "She loves America and loves the people."
Boyle is promoting her new album.
