Morrissey Walks Off Stage During Second Song
More controversy for Morrissey. The British singer walked off mid set during his second song after being doused in the face with beer by a bottle thrown at the stage.
Morrissey simply said "goodbye" and made his exit.
The incident occurred at the Liverpool Echo Arena Saturday night while Morrissey was in the middle of performing "Black Cloud." The show came to a halt for 15 minutes before a crew member informed the audience the singer would not be returning for the evening.
Concert-goers were not pleased but were told they would receive a full refund for the nights' non-performance.
Two weeks earlier the 50-year-old singer collapsed on stage suffering from respiratory trouble. He was hospitalized following the Swindon Oasis show which forced the cancellation of the following nights show in Bournemouth.
Morrissey will continue his European tour and is scheduled to perform next in Holland Nov. 9 in Nijmegen.
