Swift pokes fun at “Twilight”

Taylor Swift very funny on SNL last night

Taylor Swift - Fearless Tour 2009

Last night was Taylor Swift’s second appearance as musical guest on “Saturday Night Live”, but her first as host.

Though this season is only a few episodes in, last night’s seemed to be the best one so far. She seemed to be willing to take anything the cast threw at her, seeing as how she was featured in most of the sketches last night.

One of the skits in particular, was a spoof of “Twilight” called “Firelight”. It starred Swift and Bill Hader in the new returning series of sketches called “Digital Shorts” which replace the “Saturday TV Funhouse” series.

In the sketch “Swift (in an awesomely bad Bella wig) pines over Frankenstein (who can't kiss people because he accidentally chokes them to death). Instead of a werewolf getting jealous, Swift's character is warned by a mummy. It was fantastically hilarious, especially Bill Hader's performance as the object of Swift's affection” according to MTV.com.
