'Jonas' To Return For Second Season

The band's successful show will begin second-season production in February.

Season two of Jonas is scheduled for production in February to air in mid-2010 on the Disney Channel. The comedy show, starring the Jonas Brothers, Chelsea Staub, and Nicole Anderson, will have two new producers: Lester Lewis of The Office and Paul Hoen of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

According to TvByTheNumbers.com, Gary Marsh, president of Disney Channels Worldwide, made the announcement today. "We couldn't ask for a more collaborative or creative partnership than we have with the Jonas Brothers – and the success of our first season of ‘JONAS' speaks for itself," Marsh said. "As we build on that success in a second season, we are thrilled to add the extraordinary creative talents of Lester Lewis and Paul Hoen to the producing team."

Two years ago the Jonas Brothers was performing small concerts in the House of Blues clubs. since they have grown to household names with sold out arenas and stadiums worldwide. Just winning Billboard Magazine's Choice Tour Award for 2009, they are among the top grossing artists of the year.

Other notable Jonas Brothers achievements include: A three-continent concert tour that sold 1.5 million arena tickets, winning 2009 Eventful Fans' Choice Award for the best concert tour of the year; Their debut album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, as one of 2009's top; Three #1 hit singles; #3 highest-grossing 3D concert of all time; Joint venture record label with Disney Music Group; Grammy Award nomination; and a best-selling book, Burning Up: On Tour with the Jonas Brothers.

The new season will star none other than Kevin, Joe, and Nick Lucas of the Jonas Brothers as they encounter the changes and opportunities of moving to Hollywood, including film roles, producing, and working on their new album.
