Rihanna Makes Guest Appearance Alongside Jay-Z in Los Angeles

Singer performs with Jay-Z on "Run This Town" and then goes into new single, "Hard."

If you've seen Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 Tour, then you know how much the rap legend alone makes the show in to something to remember. After blowing up the stage at a sold-out Save Mart Center in Fresno, California on Saturday, Jay-Z was in the company of Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel, Justin Timberblake, and none other than Rihanna the next night in Los Angeles.

Of the four, Rihanna got the best response due to her appearance on stage. Preparing for the release of her album Rated R on November 23, the singer joined Jay-Z at UCLA's Pauley Pavillion for her part in "Run This Town." Per usual, the singer (who had just opened up about Chris Brown's assault days earlier in an interview with Diane Sawyer) displayed her unique style, full with asymmetrical jacket.

Despite the drama and media coverage of her recent fall-out with Chris, Rihanna was confident and lively on stage. After her performance, she hugged Jay-Z and blew kisses to the crowd before going into her new single, "Hard." This was her first time performing the song live: it went without a hitch. The audience ate it up.

Rihanna is slated for a November 16 concert in London, where the whole of Rated R will be performed.
