Thiessen and Smith Expecting First Child Together

Former Saved by the Bell star and longtime Hollywood actress Tiffani Thiessen is officially pregnant according to The New York Daily News. Thiessen and her husband, actor Brady Smith, are expecting this first child in May of 2010 and Thiessen described that she is looking forward to having to balance her pregnancy with her latest role on USA's "White Drama" television series.

Back in August, Thiessen told OK! Magazine that she did want a potential pregnancy to interfere with her television series, saying, "We've talked about it, but the show started, so we're going to wait and try to figure out when the best time is. I don't want to spring a pregnancy on a brand new show that I just got on."

However, shooting for the first season of "White Drama" has finished and the show premiered two weeks ago on the USA Network. Thiessen and Smith, who have been married since 2005, provided a joint statement through a representative to express their exhilaration over Thiessen's pregnancy.

The statement reads, "We are over the moon!" the couple said in a statement. "It's something we've wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it's actually happening."
