Court Grants Justin Timberlake a Restraining Order Against McNeil

Timberlake claimed that Karen McNeil trespassed on his property on numerous occasions and was granted a restraining order

Grammy Award winning performer Justin Timberlake was granted a restraining order in court earlier today against Karen McNeil, who was accused of trespassing on Timberlake's property several times last month. According to The Associated Press, McNeil represented herself in the case and she claimed that Timberlake allowed her to visit his residence, saying, "That was all lies. I did not break into Justin's house. I was let on the property."

The court granted Timberlake a temporary restraining order against McNeil in late October according to Entertainment Tonight Online as a result of her alleged stalking. The restraining order was extended from a temporary court order into a three year order that will prevent McNeil from coming into contact with Timberlake for three years.

Timberlake did not appear in court for the hearings since he is currently in the midst of filming a movie but McNeil, who was representing herself in the case, seemingly dug a deeper hole for herself with the statements that she wrote in court papers that appeared to reveal her bizarre obsession with the popular singer.

McNeil wrote in the court documents that she believed that it was her destiny to marry Timberlake and that she was going to rule the world with him. After the announcement came that Timberlake's restraining order was granted, the court briefly recessed due to a five-minute tirade by the defendant.
