Tyler quits Aerosmith?
Steven Tyler might have quit Aerosmith for good, according to Joe Perry.
Aerosmith, the band that's been together through both fame and hardships for decades, might finally be splitting for good.
According to an article in the Las Vegas Sun, guitarist Joe Perry announced that, as far as he was aware, Steven Tyler quit the band after a concert in Abu Dhabi. Perry said he saw online that Tyler had announced his departure from the band, but hasn't been able to contact the frontman to talk to him about it.
Although the news undoubtedly took the band by surprise, Perry says he thinks that Tyler has been planning on leaving the group for some time. However, he did say that he wants to keep Aerosmith together whether or not Tyler decides to continue his career with them.
