CW Will Debut 'Life Unexpected' With High Expectations
The CW will debut a brand new series entitled "Life Unexpected," which has already gained notice from television critics.
According to an article on Variety.com, "'Life Unexpected' centers on a 15-year-old (Britt Robertson) who looks to get out of foster care by petitioning to be an emancipated minor. A judge instead puts her in the reluctant care of her biological parents (Shiri Appleby and Kristoffer Polaha), who had given her up for adoption as a baby.'"
The show is said to begin airing on Mondays at 9 p.m. starting Jan. 18, but the network has yet to confirm the scheduling. The slot is the current home of the hit teen series "Gossip Girl," which is likely to go on hiatus during the winter months and return in the spring to wrap up its 24-episode order.
Meanwhile, CBS TV Studios and Warner Bros. TV will be producing the show with Liz Tigelaar and Gary Fleder as its executive producers.
The Variety.com article closes by stating that the, "CW is expected to announce its full midseason plan shortly."
