Mya's Near Perfect Score Lands Top Spot on "Dancing With The Stars"
On tonight's episode of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", the celebrities and their partners were required to perform two individual dances in the same night for the first time all season.
According to MSNBC.com, R&B singer Mya stole the show alongside her partner Dmitry Chaplin in each of their two performances. She earned a perfect score of 30 for her performance in 1970's style samba and a thoroughly impressive 29 out of 30 in her traditional quickstep performance.
There are only five celebrities remaining on this season of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and Mya earned the most impressive scores of the evening by far during Monday night's episode. Coming in second place was the duo of Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough who earned a combined score of 52 points out of 60. Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of rock music icon Ozzy Osbourne, earned a score of 51 with her partner Louis van Amstel.
Both Donny Osmond and Aaron Carter earned scores of 50 points for their performances on Monday night, tying for last place. Both Osmond and Carter appear to be on the chopping block heading into Tuesday night's episode of "Dancing With The Stars" where one of the remaining five celebrity contestants will be eliminated from the show.
