Mya, Three Others Advance to Semifinals of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars"

Aaron Carter has been eliminated and the semifinals are now set with Mya, Joanna Krupa, Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne as the final four contestants.

As expected after two mesmerizing performances on Monday night that resulted in scores of 30 out of 30 and 29 out of 30, R&B singer Mya advanced to the semifinals on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday night results show. With just four celebrities remaining in the dance competition, Mya appears to be the heavy favorite to win the show due to her consistency and continued improvement as she has gained more experience.

While it was no secret that Mya was all but certain to advance to the final four, the other four contestants were forced to sweat it out on Tuesday night's results show. Model Joanna Krupa, who came in second on Monday night's edition of "Dancing with the Stars," was announced as a semifinalist, as was the ever-popular Donny Osmond.

With Mya, Krupa and Osmond confirmed for the semifinals, the pending elimination came down to the daughter of rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, and pop singer Aaron Carter. Ultimately it was Carter who was eliminated from the show but he was commended by "Dancing with the Stars" judge Len Goodman for his tireless work ethic and dedication throughout his experience on the show.

Goodman praised the 21-year-old, saying, "I think the dedication that you have shown week after week is absolutely fantastic. I think you're an inspiration to all young people that anything is possible, and if you were my son, I would be so proud of you. But more important, you be proud of yourself, because you've been great."
