Twilight Stars Pattinson and Stewart Spotted Holding Hands in Paris

The celebrity and entertainment media has been seeking confirmation from "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart that they are currently an item for quite some time. Stewart recently made a comment about the situation to Entertainment Weekly, stating, "I probably would've answered if people hadn't made such a big deal about it. But I'm not going to give the fiending an answer."

People.com is reporting that the two "Twilight" stars were seen holding hands at an airport in Paris and their "Twilight" co-star, actor Peter Facinelli, tweeted about Pattinson and Stewart's airport photograph to say, "Co-stars caught holding hands. Guess the picture proves everything."

Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the "Twilight" saga, elaborated on the undeniable chemistry that exists between the film's lead actor and actress during an interview with Vanity Fair. Hardwicke described Pattinson and Stewart's relationship as a nervous attraction that enhances the quality of the interactions between the two while they portray their characters on set.

In Vanity Fair's November issue, Hardwicke said, ""What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other.It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination." Rumors have been circulating about a potential off-screen relationship between the two for a long time and they were intensified in late October when they allegedly spent the night together at the world-renowned, Hollywood-based Chateau Marmont.
