Fox Cancels "Dollhouse"
I would like to apologize to all the "Dollhouse" fans out there. It was MY fault that the show was canceled. Why? Because it was my favorite show. Call it a gift or a curse, but I cannot seem to ever keep my favorite shows on the air for more than two seasons.
Admittedly, they might not have been the greatest shows ever, but I have been responsible for the cancellation of the following shows: "Angel", "Surface", "Firefly","Pushing Daisies", the old "Melrose Place, "Titans" and a slew of others that many people liked.
Even though this show had high ratings in the DVR'd department, it still failed to get a third season. I think DVRing something should count on the Nielsen ratings. I do not watch anything anymore that has not been taped. I want to watch the show, not the commercials, and I want to watch it quickly.
So although I will be naming my first daughter after you, Eliza Dushku, it is not enough to keep you on the air. Any chance we convince you and Joss to so a "Faith" series? Please, oh please!
