Swift Brings Ratings to CMA's

Taylor Swift cleaned up shop at the CMA's broadcasted on ABC and also helped bring in the highest views for the award show in the past four years.

Up from 15.9 million views last year, the show had 16.8 million viewers. It was still down by half the views 1978 earned. It also was considerably lower than the Grammy's were in February with 19.1 million.

19-year-old Swift won the highest honor of the show, entertainer of the year and is now among other country heavyweights such as Dolly Parton and Kenny Chesney. Swift is the youngest person to ever win the prestigious honor. She also won female vocalist, album of the year for Fearless, and song of the year for Love Story.

Also, in the night of firsts, Darius Rucker became the first black person to win vocalist of the year at the CMA's.
