Taylor Swift Wins Big At CMAs!
Taylor Swift took home almost all of the Country Music Association awards last night, and she did so in front of the largest audience the CMA Awards show has seen in four years. The reason for the increase in CMA Awards viewers? Taylor Swift, of course.
According to Reuters.com, "The three-hour show averaged 16.8 million viewers for ABC on Wednesday, up from 15.9 million last year. It marks the highest score since 2005, when 17.7 million people tuned in to the CBS broadcast."
Swift, only 19, took home awards for "Best Female Vocalist," "Album of the Year," and "Music Video of the Year," as well as being the youngest person ever to win the title of "Entertainer of the Year."
"I will never forget this moment, because in this moment everything I have ever wanted has happened to me," said Swift after her big win.
Congratulations to Taylor, and I can't wait to see what will be next on her to-do list.
