Sarah Palin Allegedly Bashes Katie Couric in Her New Book, "Going Rogue"

The former Republican vice presidential candidate describes interviewer Katie Couric as biased and condescending.

With her new book, entitled "Going Rogue," scheduled for a November 17 release date, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues to generate headlines as details from her memoirs have begun to circulate throughout the media. It has been revealed by People.com that Palin describes CBS interviewer Katie Couric as badgering, biased and condescending, in "Going Rogue."

Palin's opinion of Couric was formed after their infamous interview in 2008 where the former Republican vice presidential candidate admits that she came off extremely poorly from her appearance as a result of various things she said. Palin claims that Couric's biased style of interviewing was evident in the types of questions that she asked her, in comparison to the questions that she asked her counterpart, Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate clarified that she chose to go along with the interview as a result of advice she received from Nicolle Wallace, a campaign aid for Republican presidential candidate John McCain. Palin insulted Couric in "Going Rogue" by referring to the fact that she pulls in the lowest ratings of any network anchor in her timeslot.

Palin also criticized Couric for editing the piece to place her in a negative light amongst the public due to the fact that all of her puzzling remarks were aired while her more impressive analyses in response to certain questions were conveniently edited out.
