Sosa's face appears whiter than ever

The name Sammy Sosa is associated with a baseball player who made 609 home runs throughout his career, but has not made it on the field for a big league game since a steroid scandal that brought his career to a close. But people are taking a closer look at the baseball star as they notice something has changed: his face.

At 41, Sosa's face seems to have undergone a transformation leaving his skin far lighter than in the past, reported Cnpanyu.com.

Rebecca Polihronis, of former Cubs community relations, claims that Sosa was "going through a rejunevation process for his skin." But she also recognized that in photographs the lighter Sosa looks like a completely different person.

Some people are attributing the change to a return to steroids, others to skin-bleach treatment.

Sosa, however, denies all claims.
