Lindsay Lohan Balks at Bar Bill
Maybe karma was in action when Lindsay Lohan fell victim to robbery when her Hollywood Hill's home was raided in October.
People.com reported Lohan, 23, was spotted partying at Crown Bar in Los Angeles on Nov. 6 and was angry when asked to ante up and pay for her bottles of bubbly.
People.com reported a source said, "Lindsay stormed into the kitchen and grabbed two bottles of really expensive champagne. She finished both bottles with a friend. When the bartender gave her a bill, she had a meltdown," says the source. "She was yelling at him and screaming profanities at everyone. The bar insisted she pay, so she had to call a friend with her credit-card information."
Before the actress left the club around 2:30 a.m., the onlooker said Lohan was crying, saying she wanted to go home because she was not accustomed to purchasing her drinks.
This isn't the first time Lohan has been accused of having sticky fingers. Some $40,000 worth of Dior baubles went missing from Lindsay's U.K. "Elle" magazine cover shoot in July. Lohan's mother, Dina, defended her daughter's innocence, though "Elle" stated the magazine staff "had no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible."
In May 2007, Lohan avoided felony grand theft charges because there was insufficient evidence when a woman accused the starlet of stealing her clothing.
Lohan is actually guilty of "stealing" Paris Hilton's boyfriend in Spring 2006. Lohan and Stavros Niarchos were spotted hooking up at Butter and Bungalow 8 in Manhattan five days before he and Hilton broke up.
