Angelina Jolie, Jon Voigt Attempt to Make Amends.

Firstly, it doesn't compare to Lindsay Lohan and her family drama, but it's worth mentioning.

Now that that's out of the way: Angelina Jolie has been at odds with her father, Jon Voigt, for a very long time now. It started way back when he disclosed that she was planning on adopting her first child and then later accused her of needing therapy.

Maybe it has been long enough, because the father/actor claims that Brad Pitt had a big part to play in getting him and his daughter back on speaking terms. Reconciliation seems to be in the works, but with one condition: Voigt doesn't speak about the issue.

Some think that Angelina's forgiveness is really an attempt for her to have a little security, as possible tell-all books from former employees are in the works.

One from a former bodyguard and the other by British writer Andrew Morton, the actress may be nervous about the depth of information released.

Jolie has yet to publicly comment on the rumors of her adopting a little girl from Syria.
