Bruce Springsteen Catches A Bout of Old-Timer's At Concert

Bruce Springsteen forgot where he was Friday night. Now, many of us have been in the same situation of not knowing up from down, much less where we are for the night. But most of us don't have to shout it to an audience just waiting to turn from goggling fans to blood-thirsty piranhas.

Springsteen, 60 and still getting down with the young folks (except for maybe in geography), called out Ohio three times at his Michigan concert before someone decided to pass him the memo. Steve Van Zandt of the E Street Band told him of his errors during the show.

But you can't knock Springsteen and his attitude. The crowd had a hard time being mad at him as he smiled and grinned and went on about the concert as usual.

Now, if that had been Britney Spears, it'd be a completely different story.
