Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Inspired by the Snake
Brangelina is at it again.
The dynamic duo have completed a limited edition of gold and silver snake-inspired jewelry for high-end jeweler Asprey.
Women's Wear Daily reported that the couple has been working on the line for a year, and pieces will go on sale at Asprey retailers in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai this week.
The line includes baby spoons, eggcups, tooth boxes and picture frames, pendants and rings made from gold, silver and micropavé diamonds, all featuring curving snakes. Prices start at $525.
Why a snake theme for baby items you may ask. Well, according to WWD, Jolie, 34, was given a ring in the shape of a serpent when pregnant with daughter Shiloh and sees the snake as a symbol of protection for her family.
Pitt, 45, is no stranger to jewelry design. He collaborated with jeweler Damiani to create an engagement ring for Gwyneth Paltrow and wedding bands for Jennifer Aniston in 1996 and 2000, respectively.
According to US.com, proceeds from Pitt and Jolie's line go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which Jolie co-founded in 2006. The organization raises awareness and funds to educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.
