Now, a new hairdo is making waves across hair salons in Manhattan, The New York Times reported. Women are now asking for Blake Lively's long, shiny and often tousled hair. It may not be called the "Serena," after Lively's character Serena van der Woodsen in "Gossip Girl," but women are definitely requesting style's with one goal in mind: to have her hair.
This may not only be limited to New York. According to the NYT, a "Google search of Blake Lively Hair' produces 713,000 results, many of them how to's.'"
The new trend leaves behind the sleek look that has been popular for many years. According to the report, women are purchasing hair products that help hair look tousled, textured or curled.
