Nicole Richie Gets Restraining Order from Paparazzi
Nicole Richie was granted a restraining order against two paparazzi, TMZ reported.
A judge granted Richie a three year restraining order, which will take effect immediately until 2012, against the paparazzi who struck Richie's car on October.
The restraining order forces the paparazzi photographers to stay at least 50 yards away from Richie and Joel Madden, her husband.
Richie claimed the two photographers harassed her and caused her car accident to occur. After the car crash the paparazzo was arrested for driving without a license and released on bail. After the accident Richie believing it to have been intentional hired Mark Geragos, famed celebrity lawyer who recently defended Chris Brown in court, in plans to sue the paparazzi.
Richie did not receive any injuries from the accident and no major damages occurred.
Accompanying Richie at court on Monday afternoon were Madden, Geragos, her lawyer, and Scott Ross, her private investigator.
