Mya Continues to Blow Competition Away on "Dancing With The Stars"

RandB singer Mya earned 87 points out of a possible 90 for her three performances during the semifinal stage of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars"

During Monday night's semifinals of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", R&B singer Mya continued to mesmerize the judges as well as the show's viewers by displaying her exceptional skill and incomparable consistency. She managed to earn a staggering 87 points out of a possible 90 for her three dances on Monday, including a perfect score for her and Dmitry Chaplin's rendition of the salsa dance.

According to MSNBC.com, Mya was complimented on her complexion, specifically her backside, at the conclusion of her salsa dance by judge Len Goodman. The score of 30 that Mya and Dmitry Chaplin received on Monday night for their second performance marked the second consecutive week that the dancing duo earned a perfect score.

Coming in second place was the team of model Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough, who compiled 81 points out of 90 for their three performances during the evening. Tonight's episode was the first time in the history of "Dancing With The Stars" where the couples would be required to perform three separate individual dances.

With Mya's dominance over the competition and Krupa's continued consistency, it appears that the third spot in the show's final round will come down to Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne. Osbourne's scores in the semifinals were slightly higher, largely due to a lackluster performance in the first dance of the night by Osmond and Kym Johnson, but Osmond's popularity amongst the show's voters may help him to advance into the finals.
