21-Year-Old Single Mother Arrested for Failing to Arrive for Deployment

A breaking news story has been reported by Guardian.co.uk on Tuesday that is sure to generate a tremendous amount of controversy in the coming days. 21-year-old single mother Alexis Hutchinson has been arrested by the U.S. Army for failing to show up for her scheduled deployment to Afghanistan but Hutchinson has revealed that the reason she did not show up is because she was unable to find someone to care for her 10-month-old infant son.

Hutchinson is an Army cook with the 3rd Infantry Division and she has been placed in temporary custody for her failure to arrive for deployment.
