After being sick, Elton John says he is back on his feet
Allison Manchel
Elton John is back to being in good health after being ill with a case of the flu and an E. coli bacterial infection. He spoke about his recovery before the annual benefit for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, where former President Bill Clinton and Sharon Stone were honored.
Talking about his illness, John says the most worst part of being in the hospital was that he had to be in bed for nine days, and the hardest part of being sick was that he had to cancel shows. John is better now, he had a long time to rest and heal, and he is ready to get back to the stage.
The benefit event, "An Enduring Vision," was held Monday night, and honored Evelyn and Leonard Lauder, and Lily Safra, as well as Clinton and Stone.
