Katherine Jackson to Potentially Sue Dr. Conrad Murray for Son's Death
According to WXYZ Action News in Detroit, the mother of late pop music icon Michael Jackson, Katherine Jackson, is legitimately considering the option of suing Dr. Conrad Murray for the wrongful death of her son. This option surfaced just one day after Michael Jackson's sister, R&B singer Janet Jackson, revealed her opinion that Dr. Conrad Murray was primarily responsible for her brother's death as a result of the fact that he administered him with drugs, during an ABC News interview with reporter Robin Roberts.
The attorney who represents Katherine Jackson as well as the late Michael Jackson's three children Blanket, Prince Michael and Paris, Adam Streisand, told WXYZ Action News in Detroit the reasoning behind the delay in a potential wrongful death lawsuit that has yet to be filed on behalf of his client. The attorney unveiled that Dr. Conrad Murray's lack of sufficient funds are the underlying factor behind his decision to postpone a potential wrongful death lawsuit.
Dr. Murray, who may reportedly file a suit against AEG Live for a total of $300,000, may reconsider his options as a result of the recent announcement that was made by Katherine Jackson's attorney. Streisand expressed that he would be rooting for Dr. Murray in a lawsuit against AEG Live because, as he clarified, "At least then we'd have some money to take from him."
