Tila Tequila Sues Former NFL Beau

‘A Shot at Love' star Tila Tequila is filing a lawsuit against NFL player and former boyfriend Shawne Merriman after he allegedly choked her and threw her to the ground in an altercation that took place in September.

The lawsuit has pictures of bruises Tequila claims she merited from Merriman. Tequila also makes claims that Merriman was verbally abusive to her because she is a bi-sexual as well as she accuses Merriman of being a drug addict. She claims that his bad temper had a lot to contribute to the injuries she sustained.

Merriman denied the allegations made by Tequila on the September 6, 2009 citizen's arrest that Tequila filed for, after she called the police about being choked by the linebacker. Authorities had confirmed that both parties had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the altercation.
