Courtney Love Being Sued For Tweets
Fashion designer suing Love for libel over slanderous comments made on Twitter account.
Courtney Love is no stranger to Twitter. She takes to it like Sarah Palin does interviews. The inaccuracies are astounding and you simply cannot wrench your head away. The drunken dialing enthusiasm Love typed into her feeds was unparalleled. Although it's been months since the singer canceled her account, comments made have come back to follow her and they weren't so tweet.
Love is being sued for libel by fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir for comments made on Love's twitter feed while the account was still active. Simorangkir claims the two had a payment dispute over her clothing designs. Love allegedly posted statements on her Twitter account about the designer saying she had a "history of dealing cocaine."
Par for the course when dealing with Ms. Love who has become the litigious scenster having fought both American Express and recently Guitar Hero 5 for using dead husband Kurt Cobain's likeness as part its game.
