Father of Boy Who Accused Michael Jackson of Molestation Commits Suicide
Fox News is reporting that 65-year-old Beverly Hills resident Evan Chandler, the father of Jordan Chandler who accused the late Michael Jackson of child molestation, was found dead on November 5th in his apartment and autopsy reports have confirmed suspicions that he committed suicide.
Chandler was discovered by authorities with a .38-caliber revolver in his possession as he lay deceased in his bed as a result of a gunshot wound.
When the child molestation allegations were made by Chandler's son, Jordan, Michael Jackson infamously paid the child $20 million in order to put an end to the investigation. Jordan's mother, June, received much of the blame from Evan Chandler for getting their son into contact with the late King of Pop'. However, Jordan Chandler claims that his father assaulted him with a workout dumbbell in 2006 and after he was granted a restraining order in court, he never spoke to his father again, according to Fox News.
After a series of brutal physical attacks that were committed by bizarre fans of Michael Jackson, Chandler underwent a series of medical procedures to have his appearance altered significantly so that he would be unrecognizable. Family members claim that his mental health deteriorated over the years.
An unidentified relative of Chandler revealed details about the 65-year-old who committed suicide on November 5, 2009, stating, "He stopped coming to family events because he was afraid of being recognized, like anyone in the family would care. That eventually turned into permanent estrangement from his family."
