Leighton Meester to Collaborate with Lil Wayne
Leighton Meester and Lil Wayne are about to "Make It Rain"
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is set to work together with rapper Lil Wayne for a new song, "Make It Rain."
Meester and Wayne met a few months ago, the two presented the award for Best Song From A Movie at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and Meester describes the rapper as "incredibly polite and respectful."
Meester sent Wayne a couple of her tracks, and when he heard "Make It Rain," he said he was "gonna kill it!"
The two were in the studio at all hours, recording sometimes at 4 A.M. When Meester saw Weezy do his thing, she was incredibly impressed.
Along with her partnership with Lil Wayne, Meester has already worked with Cobra Starship on their song "Good Girls Gone Bad" and with Robin Thicke on the song "Somebody To Love."
