Former MMA fighter suspected of 6 counts of murder
Former MMA fighter David "Hooligan" Tyner has been arrested in connection with a multiple homicide.
The former Marine and high school wrestling star turned himself into Oklahoma City police after they issued a warrant for his arrest on Monday.
According to FanHouse.com, fire investigators responded to a house fire on Nov. 9 before discovering the remains of four individuals, two of whom were pregnant. All four victims were shot and Investigators believe that the fire was started intentionally.
Police say that they have established a link between Tyner and one of the victims but Tyner was identified by the lone survivor, Jose Fierro. Tyner has not been formally charged yet.
Tyner compiled a 6-1 record as a professional fighter, with his lone loss coming in a second round TKO to Patrick Smith in 2007. There have been reports that Tyner was training to fight again.The murders have received national attention due to one of the victims, 22 year-old Brooke Phillips, who was a prostitute and appeared on the HBO series "Cathouse."
According to Fanhouse, the other victims include Millie Barrera (22), Jennifer Lynn Ermey (25), and Casey M. Barrientos (32).
