Will Prejean Thinks Daugther Is Being Treated Unfairly

Will Prejean offered some especially harsh judgments of the media and pageant officials in relation to their handling of his daughter.

Will Prejean is proving that a parent's love really is strong enough to triumph over anything, even if that anything includes sex tapes and nude photos.

Prejean, father of ex-Miss California Carrie Prejean, spoke exclusively with E! News about the way his daughter has been treated by the media and pageant executives lately.

"The personal information they are bringing out against Carrie is irrelevant to anything," daddy said.

"Look at Larry King, he asked Carrie harder questions than he asked [Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad."

For a refresher, the Larry King interview was the one in which Carrie deemed the host to be "inappropriate" and refused to answer his questions.

"Carrie is supposed to be doing all of these TV appearances to promote her book, and everyone can only focus on the tapes," elder Prejean continued to argue. "I'm not someone who looks backwards. I think we need to look to the future."

Larry King was not the only person that the proud papa had vindictive words for. He also slammed pageant executive director Keith Lewis.

"He can't run the thing and never has been able to," Prejean said.

However, he did keep Donald Trump off of his bad list.

"He is just caught in the middle," Prejean said of the pageant owner. "He has been nothing but wonderful, really wonderful, to Carrie through all of this."

Although Prejean wishes everyone would just give Carrie the credit and attention she deserves for her book, he did admit that he has yet to even read the biography.
