Sandra Bullock Tackles a Difficult Role
Sandra Bullock has had a jam-packed year with movies such as "The Proposal," "All About Steve," and now her latest film, "The Blind Side."
"The Blind Side" is based off the novel "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game." It is the story of an upper class family who take in a homeless teen, and how that one act of kindness changed their lives. Bullock plays powerful and domineering Leigh Anne Tuohy.
Before portraying her on the big screen, Bullock got the chance to meet the real Leigh Anne Tuohy, and from the very first meeting Bullock knew she had a very strong personality and she was very strong-willed.
The first few days of filming, Bullock was still not comfortable in her role as Tuohy, but it was the acts of family love that made her realize she was right for the part. Bullock has always loved children, and was finally convinced that she was fit to portray this character when she saw the family values play out throughout filming.
"The Blind Side" will be in theaters tomorrow, November 20.
