John Lennon's new play on Broadway opens.

Not only has Yoko Ono been blamed for breaking up The Beatles, but now she is blamed for manipulating the musical based on her husband, John Lennon's life. Lennon, which opened on Broadway yesterday, chronicles the life of the famous Beatle in his own words through his music, videos, and interviews. Lennon's murder by a crazed fan in 1980 is the only part of the musical that is not narrated by Lennon himself. Instead, it is told through the eyes of a New York policeman.
Critics are complaining that Ono had a dominant role in creating the musical because of her total control of Lennon's solo music. The musical is more of a love story than anything else. To the dismay of Beatle's fans, Lennon barely contains any music by the Fab Four.
