Sarah Jessica Parker's Surrogate Appeared in Court
Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate mother to her twins appeared in court on Thursday, announced E! Online.
Michelle Ross, surrogate mother to Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, appeared in court on Thursday in order to testify against an Ohio policeman accused of planning a break-in to her house to get dirt on her and sell it to tabloids.
Ross told the court she learned about the scheme to steal her personal items from a paparazzo.
Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter said he entered Ross's home when Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack told him of two photographers who were interested in purchasing information on the surrogate mother for $20,000. Carpenter said he entered the house when he saw the basement door opened.
Ultrasound pictures and tax documents were stolen from Ross's home.
The two photographers confirmed Carpenter tried selling Ross's belongings for a large sum of money.
If convicted of the charges Carpenter could face up to 21 years in prison and Dojack could get up to 14 years.
