Sen. John Kerry's Daughter Arrested

U.S. Senator John Kerry's daughter, Alexandra, who is most infamous for her appearance on the red carpet several years ago in a see through dress, was arrested Thursday in Hollywood for suspicion of driving under the influence.

The 36-year-old was stopped by police and jailed for a misdemeanor of driving under the influence. She was release on a $5,000 bail.

A statement issued by the senator said that she was pulled over for an expired automobile registration. After doing a breathalyzer test and passing just under the legal limit, she was taken into the station.

TMZ.com reported that Kerry was given a field sobriety test which she failed and had to undergo a test again at the police station. They also reported that she refused the field test, resulting in an automatic fail.

Kerry got her reputation when she appeared at the Cannes Film Festival several years ago in a see-through dress where the short film she directed, "The Last Full Measure," premiered.
