Britney Spears' Ex Was Sentenced To Time in Prison
Britney Spears ex-boyfriend was sent to prison on Friday, reported E! Online.
Adnan Ghalib was sentenced to 45 days in prison after a hit-and-run incident in which he hit a process server, who was trying to deliver a restraining order from Spears, with his car and fled the scene.
The paparazzo dated Spears during her public meltdown two years ago.
Ghalib pleaded no contest in leaving the accident scene and agreed to a plea deal in order to avoid deportation. Initially Ghalib was charged with assault with deadly weapon, battery and hit-and-run, but the first two charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.
The celebrity tabloids photographer was ordered to keep distance from Spears until 2012.
The 37-year-old was ultimately sentenced to 45 days in prison, 45 days of roadside trash pickup after he gets out and 52 weeks of anger management classes. Ghalib will also be on probation for 36 months.
