Performers Prepare for the AMAs

Performers for the American Music Awards will blow out all the stops at this years show

Performers at this year's American Music Awards Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert are prepared to kick it up a notch and make their performances unforgettable.

Lopez has plans to incorporate an on-stage costume change into her performance, as well as fireworks. Lambert will be using leather and chains while he takes the stage.

Lopez has not performed on stage in years, so while she is in good form, she is still a little nervous. She will be performing "Louboutins," the first single from her new album "Love?" This will be her first time performing this song in front of fans.

Lambert will perform a more provocative edition of his first single, "For Your Entertainment." The performance will include the use of leather and chains, and there is a part where Lambert will be dragging a woman across the stage.

Other performers include Rihanna, Whitney Houstin, Lil' Wayne, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Keith Urban, Jay-Z and Carrie Underwood. Janet Jackson will be opening the show with a song-medley tribute to Michael Jackson.

The 37th annual American Music Awards will air on ABC on Sunday, November 22.
