Al Gore Brings Message to SNL

On Saturday Night Live, Al Gore took a new approach to his global warming campaign.

If Al Gore has his way, some politicians are soon going to have random trees in their yard and ice water on their faces.

The former Vice President appeared on NBC's "Saturday Night Life" last night as part of the network's "Green Week." Alongside Seth Myers, Gore joked about how he will have to start being "crazy" to get people to pay attention to the seriousness of global warming.

One of his plans involves secretly installing menacing trees in politician's front yards.

The trees would have fake guns attached the them, "so that when they wake up and walk out of their houses in the morning, they'll think it's the forest coming to get their revenge," explained Gore, according to Seattle PI.

Another suggestion drew its inspiration from cartoon pranks.

"Instead of writing a letter to a congressman, I'm going to fill up a trash can with ice water, then prop it against his office door, so when he opens it, the cold water splashes all over him," Gore said, reports NBC San Diego. "Then he'll find the note I left on his desk that says, ‘We're melting. Love, the glaciers.'"
